The Simon Peter Syndrome

Few books have been written that deal soley with the subject of Feet Washing.  This alone is enough reason for writing this book.  It must be confessed, however, that there was a much deeper conviction that led to the research and development of this book.  In much of the religious world little, if any, is heard fromt he pulpit or classroom on this subject.  It is no wonder that the practice of the observance seems to be disappearing even among groups that once religiously kept the ordinance.

It is amazing how many people are willing to cling to this Bible teaching, once they have been shown the many Scripture passages dealing with the subject.  This book can help fill a need simply by bringing to the attention of God-loving people that feet washing it not a new doctrine of some modern-day cult.  It is a sound Bible teaching that was instituted as an ordinance by Jesus Christ and was reemphasized by the apostle Paul when he wrote to Timothy about the subject.
