Details
The Holy Scriptures speak in many places of the wonderful healing power of God. In prophetic reference to Christ, the Psalmist David said, "... who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases" (Psalms 103:3). The prophet Isaiah also declared that we are healed by the stripes which Christ bore: "... with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:3; see also 1 Peter 2:24).
