Living Sacrifice

As followers of Christ, there should be no end to the things in our lives for which we are thankful.  All of our basic needs are met every day, and often we don't even give them a second thought.  It is only by the grace of God that we possess anything.  Since this is the case, wouldn't we do well to be thankful each and every day that God allows us to wake up, get out of bed, and do the things that are necessary for our continued well being.  Even those of use whoa re in the worst shape physically, financially, emotionally, or mentally have much to be thankful for.  Each of us has survived right up until today.  It is only by the gracec of God that we have done so.

God help us to live our lives in such a way that anyone who might behold our lives would be able to see God's love, mercy, and grace showing through in everything that we do.  Let us be thankful that God has reveal truth to us and embrace it in our daily lives.  God has given us our very lives, and it is only fitting that we show our gratitude by returning those lives to Him to use as He sees fit.
