John 17:21 states, "That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." The One in Us collection of devotions focuses on various biblical topics regarding unity with God and with one another.
This book of devotions is dedicated to all of those whose desire is to continue to grow "...in the unity of the faith, and to the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ" (Ephesians 4:13). It takes a consistent desire to move forward in the Lord if we hope to achieve the unity of which Jesus spoke. To stand still for too long is to miss out on the will of God and slowly drift away from His purpose for our lives. We must continue to strive each day to find and fulfill His will for our lives.
